Reincarnation is believed to occur when the soul or spirit, after the death of the body, comes back to Earth in a newborn body. This phenomenon is also known as transmigration of the soul. It’s a widely accepted fact that when a person dies, he or she is born into a new existence as another form of life. Exactly what form the new life takes depends on how that person lived his or her previous life. Those who live honest, virtuous lives often return as powerful, well-respected creatures. Those who live lives of hate and sin, however, typically return as lower forms of life.
